Writing Life

A new way of approaching your own writing with Lesley Beake

Mine the deep layers of your own experience and turn your words into magic. Whether you have written a novel, want to write a children’s book, or are simply wondering and wandering through some random creative thoughts, help is at hand.

From mentoring hesitant ideas to editing complete manuscripts, there are many connections to make. Best of all , for new writers, is the full course – either practical or online - that uncovers the basic steps of Writing Life. But there are other options to match your particular and personal requirements. All of the above can be specially designed to be exactly what you need in your unique life of writing.

Other options connected to Writing and Reading:

• A writing course for teenagers struggling to get their thoughts on paper
• Manuscript evaluation, either for writers or publishers
• Book reviews
• Organizing book events

Upcoming Writing Life courses

Life in the country ...
In Stanford, beginning from April 2021, there will be three-day courses including writing experience on the river, in the market, on the hills ... and most especially, in your own imagination.

In July there will be the first residential course at De Mond. With whales, archaeology, history and deep weather to write about, there will be no shortage of inspiration. This is an incredible opportunity to focus on something astonishing and create mentored writing on your reactions. (And you can also bring your own ideas!) Possible publication in the De Hoop newsletter an incentive for those who have previously not been published.
